The origins of the firm trace back to founder Glynis Citarelli’s experience navigating the settlement of her father’s estate. What began as the responsibility of sorting through a lifetime revealed something far more meaningful: every object had a history, every document held a piece of a story, and every decision carried both emotional and practical weight.
It was an experience that would ultimately shape a much larger vision.
From Personal Experience to a Shared Vision
Over time, Glynis’s background in antiques, appraisal research, photography, presentation and estate transitions came together with her husband David’s decades of experience in accounting, finance and executive leadership.
Their careers had followed very different paths, yet both had been built upon many of the same principles — careful judgment, discretion, attention to detail and respect for the responsibility entrusted to them.
RH Chillingworth & Co. became the place where those experiences could come together.
